The Seattle, Washington Office
The Seattle office of Wood Partners oversees development and construction for the Pacific Northwest, including Washington and Oregon.
Wood Partners chose the region because of its rebounding economy, well-educated and high-tech workforce, and reputation as creative hotbed. The region boasts strong economic engines and is home to a growing number of existing and startup companies, fueling demand for higher density, environmentally friendly workforce housing.
Wood and its investors are particularly interested in the metropolitan areas of Seattle and Portland, which are constrained by geography as well as state-mandated growth management. The downtown areas of both cities are becoming increasingly vital and vibrant as residents tired of long commutes move closer to jobs in the urban core.
Seattle is listed in Urban Land Institute’s Emerging Trends Report and CBRE’s Investment Research Report as a top five multifamily market in the country.
Established in 2010, the Pacific Northwest office was a natural step in our company’s West Coast expansion, which started in California in 2005.
